Cangrejeras edged Caguas in Santurce 75-72 . Santurce looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for international guard Brianna Jones (177-1997, college: Georgetown) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Kamaria McDaniel (178-1999, college: Michigan St.) helped adding 19 points and 6 assists. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-1994, college: S.Florida) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and Keiry Huertas (-1994) scored 12 points. Four Caguas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
